Membership
If
you are interested in contributing to the voluntary services within the Taunton
Deane area then you can become an affiliated member of our organisation.
The benefits of affiliation include:
- A hard copy Directory of Voluntary and Community Groups - a
regularly updated directory of contacts, names and phone numbers for
hundreds of voluntary
and community groups within the area. An invaluable resource at your
fingertips.
- Inclusion in flyers and newsletters - an easy and effective way of
promoting your organisation and advertising future events.
- Recruitment of volunteers via the Volunteer Bureau - if you need
help finding volunteers then our Volunteer Bureau has experienced staff who
advertise your needs and
will the, if you wish, interview prospective volunteers.
- Use of the Library - members can suggest books for the library and
we will order them if they will benefit a wide range of groups or
organisations. Priority is given to
you for exhibitions, displays, training events and management consultancy.
- Reduced rate photocopying.
- Consultation- your membership allows you to be consulted on and
invited to meetings ensuring that a wide spectrum of views can be
represented in future planning.
- Representation - affiliated members have the right to nominate a
representative to the Executive Committee ensuring a contribution to CVS
decision making.
Subscription fees
Organisations with income less than £5,000 - £10.
Organisations with income between £5,000 and £100,000 - £25.
Organisations with income over £100,000 -£50.
